We are proud to present Vinolog’s latest release – Éclat Le Premier – a wine that boldly and elegantly brings together three of Croatia’s most known indigenous grape varieties: Slavonian Graševina, Istrian Malvasia, and Dalmatian Pošip.
Éclat Le Premier is the creation of Jelena Balog, owner of Vinolog, who, with more than 18 years of experience in the wine world, has set a new standard of quality and introduced a fresh trend with this blend.
Drawing on her creativity and impressive knowledge of the wine industry, Jelena has crafted a prestigious wine for truly unforgettable moments of enjoyment. The combination of these three varieties creates a unique harmony of aromas and flavors. Each grape contributes its own distinctive character, resulting in a complex and refined profile.
Graševina brings freshness and fruitiness. Its aromas recall green apples, fresh herbs, and citrus notes. On the palate, it delights with lively acidity, fruit-driven flavors, and a long-lasting finish.
Istrian Malvasia adds refined minerality to the wine. Its aromas reveal white flowers, citrus, and herbal notes. It enriches the palate with a rich texture, balanced freshness, and hints of almond and honey.
Pošip contributes intensity and fullness. Its bouquet features tropical fruit and ripe peach notes, while on the palate it impresses with a pronounced fruit character and a long, lingering aftertaste.
Éclat Le Premier is a true wine masterpiece, with aging potential of up to 10 years. Paired with food, it transforms every dish into an exceptional symphony of flavors. You can taste it in top Croatian restaurants, paired with fine cuisine—as befits a true “great white.”
It pairs beautifully with a variety of appetizers—delicate beef carpaccio, rich foie gras, or beef tartare. It also complements main courses such as filet mignon with black truffle sauce, duck confit with a reduced sauce, lobster, and white fish dishes.
For a sweet finish, Éclat Le Premier, with its fruit-forward profile, perfectly complements desserts such as citrus and vanilla creations.
This year, Éclat Le Premier received a score of 89 points at the Decanter World Wine Awards.
